I live in center city Philadelphia where there are such great venues at which to host special events, and most of my bookings take me out of state. But when I do have gig in Philadelphia - I can be home in 5 minutes.
This last weekend I had the delight of painting a beautiful wedding at the Curtis Atrium, Washington Square, Center Center City Philadelphia. During the week this is an office building - albeit and very grand and stately one - and for the weekend it is transformed into a dream venue for weddings and special events by the Cescaphe Ballroom group. I did two wedding paintings, first the huppa ceremony and second the reception party. The food was stunning and the music was fabulous. I am still aching from bopping away at my easel while I was painting. The band was Star Quest Band out of New York.
