On Saturday last I painted at a wedding in the Philadelphia's famed Crystal Tea Room on the top floor in the historic Wannamaker's Building in Center City.
Imagine my surprise and delight, when the reception kicked off with the band playing "Putting on the Ritz" and professional ballroom dancers did Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers routines ... what a great opening !! Kudos to the dancers and to Brandwine Valley Talent for putting on the swing.
I love to paint dancers so I was in my element ... once I had recovered from the surprise and joy of watching them dance. Well, I had a movie clip of the dancing to go here, but it wouldn't play on the live website... too bad.
